Is registration of working hours mandatory in my company?
Yes. Since May 2019, Royal Decree 8/2019 obliges all companies in Spain to record the working hours of each employee, regardless of the size of the company or the type of contract. Non-compliance can lead to penalties of between 751 and 7,500 euros for a serious violation, and up to 187,515 euros in very serious cases.
Can you clock in with PIN, RFID or facial recognition?
Odoo allows you to sign in using a personal PIN from any device. For environments with a physical clock-in terminal, access can be configured using RFID cards or barcodes. The configuration is flexible and adapts to the needs of each work center.
How are employees who telework signed in?
Remote employees can clock in directly from the Odoo web application or from the mobile app, available for iOS and Android. The system records the time of entry and exit without having to be in the office, also complying with the regulations for recording hours.
What time reports can I obtain?
Odoo generates detailed attendance reports by employee, department or period. You can check hours worked, overtime, absences and compare with the theoretical schedule. The data is exportable to Excel or PDF to present before a labor inspection or for payroll calculation.
