Is working hours registration mandatory for my company?
Yes. Since May 2019, Royal Decree 8/2019 requires all companies in Spain to record each employee's working hours, regardless of company size or contract type. Non-compliance can result in fines between 751 and 7,500 euros for serious violations, and up to 187,515 euros in very serious cases.
Can employees clock in with PIN, RFID or facial recognition?
